Aqua Experiment

Aqua Experiment is a surprising program with water.

Aqua Experiment lets you build a large aqueduct and water pipe system in a rousing competition. Then you move water with the self-built system of aqueducts, water pipes, pumps, reservoirs, taps, dozens of tripods and valves. Aqua Experiment combines surprising and challenging experiments with an exciting finale: Which team moves 30 liters of water the fastest without spilling?

How does this program work

The experiment

The participants are divided into two teams of 5 to 30 people. The assignment and amount of materials is adapted to the size of the teams. First of all, the teams are presented with an Aqua Dilemma. By completing this assignment, the team earns a quantity of test water. Using the test water, faults in the system can be detected... Both teams create the water supply and aqueduct systems in 3 units, which also have to connect to each other!
Time available: 65 minutes. Game rule: Use all materials!

Move your reservoir to the other side

In an exciting final game, each team must move their reservoir of water to the other side. Objective: Transfer 30 liters of water to the reservoir on the other side of the room without making too much of a mess. Which team made the most efficient aqueduct and was the first to reach the indicated amount of water?
